'I fall in love with you through a robot' Anime Film Announced
Yūsuke Yamada's official website for his novel, I fall in love with you through a robot—Boku wa Robot Goshi no Kimi ni Koi wo Suru, announced on Monday that the novel would be getting an anime film adaptation.
The novel's story is set in the year 2060 with Tokyo's third Olympics close at hand. While a secret project using robots moves forward, notice of a terrorist threat arrives. The story's protagonist combats terrorism and aims to protect the heroine, to whom he has given his heart. Plot twists come one after another as the story unfolds to a moving conclusion.
I fall in love with you through a robot is the latest novel from Yamada in four years. Since shipping on Oct. 21, the novel has over 170,000 copies in print.
The release was accompanied by an animated promotional video for the novel produced by A-1 Pictures. The characters were designed by loundraw, a 22-year-old artist who worked on Tsuki ga Kirei, and the theme song was performed by THE SxPLAY who also performed Final Fantasy XIII's theme song. Graphic design was placed in the hands of BALCOLONY, who also worked on Madoka Magica.

The full version of the video screened in around 1,900 participating bookstores in Japan from Oct. 21-31.
