Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Free Update Adds Mods
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 releases a sizable free content update that adds challenges, cosmetics, fixes bugs, and even adds mod support.
Last month, the free update for Warhammer: Vermintide 2 was a way to make the game easier for players who were struggling. Shying away from a simple difficulty setting update, Fatshark decided to give players some full content to keep the game rolling.
Fatshark added in Okri’s Challenges, which include daily and weekly quests to claim some impressive gear. You will also be able to complete challenges based on your Hero, Items, Crafting, and Deeds.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 also has released over one hundred new cosmetic items to spice up your particular character's wardrobe. These can be claimed by finding chests or completing the new challenges offered to you. The update also changed the drop rate for cosmetic items in chests, so you will be able to find these items quickly.
With constant requests, Fatshark has also implemented a system that lets you convert your dust to higher tiers. The new system will allow players to convert from their orange dust to their green dust with the right amounts.
Along with numerous bug fixes, the company also added mod support that can be used through Steam Workshop. This way the community can start throwing their own ideas into the game.
With Warhammer: Vermintide 2 free update going live earlier today, Fatshark also announced that PS4 and Xbox One would be getting their live betas “soon.”
