Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy Coming to Nintendo Switch
Earlier today, Bandai Namco Entertainment released an official announcement that Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy is slated to launch in Japan on April 26 for the Nintendo Switch.
The three games—Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 1, 2, and 3—will release as a bundle in Japan for 6,800 Yen—roughly $64.00 USD before tax. The Trilogy has received mixed reviews for PC and great reviews for PS4 and Xbox One.
However, the game will not include 1080p resolution on the Switch like it does on PS4 and Xbox One. It will instead run at 1600x900 in TV mode while its docked, and at 960x540 in portable mode all at 30FPS.
The announcement also stated that single Joy-Con play on the Switch will not be supported, but every other controller option—2 Joy-Cons, Joy-Cons with the Grip, and the Nintendo Switch Controller will have support. It will also support multiplayer options with TV mode & Tabletop mode.
A release date for other regions has yet to be announced.
